Recent footage, obtained by Suriname suriname, shows that the kitchen of the main barracks of the National Army, the Memre Boekoe barracks on Verlengde Gemenelandsweg, is in a very unhygienic state. Soldiers have been reporting the poor conditions for some time, but so far little has been done to address the situation.
