The minister made this statement before the start of the weekly Council of Ministers (RvM) meeting.
Upon his return, the President will consult with the chairpersons of both ABOP and Pertjajah Luhur (PL) to discuss the course of action. For the time being, Minister Steven Mac Andrew of Labor, Employment, and Youth Affairs (AW and J) will act as the interim Minister of Home Affairs.

Government support is crucial, especially given the challenges facing the agricultural sector due to climate change. It is hoped that payments will be made quickly and smoothly so that farmers can resume their activities and further protests can be avoided.
